Full hair-on cowhide over a leather sole, cut from a hide with big black blotches running across the white. Square toe, 1.5" stacked leather heel, black leather shaft. You see these coming.

The Story

Every cowhide is a one-off.

The hide gets cut, the pattern falls where it falls, and no two pairs come out matching. We could print a uniform pattern and ship a thousand identical boots. We don't. What you get is the hide the way it came off the animal.

Pinto is what you call a horse marked in two colors. It fit.

Cut and lasted by hand in León, Guanajuato, where they've been making boots longer than most brands have existed.

Craft & Materials

The Hide

Full hair-on cowhide, 100% genuine leather, ethically sourced. Every panel is cut from a single hide, so the pattern on your pair exists once.

The Sole

Leather sole with a 1.5" stacked leather heel and a durable rubber cap where the wear happens.

The Build

Double-stitched welt — the construction that lets a boot be resoled instead of thrown out. Square toe, black leather shaft.

The Hands

Cut, lasted, and finished in León, Guanajuato.

Fit

Our men's boots run one size big. Order one size down from your usual — if you wear a 10, order a 9.
Product Care

Hair-on cowhide over a leather sole. Treat it like the natural material it is.

The Hide

  • Brush lightly in the direction of the hair with a soft garment brush
  • Do not apply oils, conditioners, or polish to the hair side
  • Spot clean only; for anything deeper, see a leather specialist who works with hair-on hides

Moisture

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to rain — wet hair mats and does not always lie back down
  • If wet, blot gently and air dry at room temperature
  • Never use direct heat — no radiators, no hair dryers

The Leather Sole

  • A new leather sole is slick. Walk them in before a dance floor
  • A cobbler can add a thin rubber half-sole for grip and wear protection

Storage

  • Use boot trees or stuff the shaft to hold its shape
  • Store upright, out of direct sunlight
  • Let them rest a day between wears
