Every bootmaker in León starts here. Plain cowhide, welt stitched, leather sole — the build every other boot is a variation on. There's no exotic skin to hide behind and no tooling to pull your eye somewhere else. The only thing holding it together is whether the person who made it knew what they were doing.

That's why we lead the line with it. A maker who can build a clean Heritage can build anything we ask for after.

The Leather

Genuine cowhide, ethically sourced. Leather lining through the foot and up the shaft.

The Sole

Leather sole with a 1.5" stacked leather heel and a durable rubber cap where the wear happens.

The Build

Double-stitched welt — the construction that lets a boot be resoled instead of thrown out. Square toe.

The Hands

Cut, lasted, and finished in León, Guanajuato, by people whose families have been making boots for three generations.

Fit

Our men's boots run one size big. Order one size down from your usual — if you wear a 10, order a 9.

The Leather Sole

A new leather sole is slick. Walk them on carpet or concrete a few times before a dance floor
A cobbler can add a thin rubber half-sole if you want the grip and the wear protection
Welted construction means these get resoled, not replaced
