How to Measure

With a reference.

Chest

Lay the jacket flat and buttoned. Measure pit-to-pit straight across.

Shoulder

From shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back.

Sleeve

From the shoulder seam down the outside of the sleeve to the cuff.

Center Back Length

From the base of the collar at the back, straight down to the hem.

Bottom (Hem)

Lay flat and measure straight across the bottom hem.

Fit notes. Heritage No. 1 is cut for a clean, true-to-size silhouette with room to layer a midweight shirt underneath. If you are between sizes or prefer a relaxed fit, we recommend sizing up. Cut in a tailored, slightly cropped silhouette, the jacket is designed to frame the buckle — not conceal it. Structured enough to command presence, yet refined enough for everyday wear.

All hides are ethically sourced. We do not commission animals solely for material. Every piece is selected with intention and used with respect.

Each jacket serves as a lasting commemoration of the animal from which it came — preserved in its natural form, honored through craftsmanship, and designed to endure for decades.

Product Care

Heritage No. 1 is crafted from premium hair-on cowhide. Natural variation and subtle wear are part of its character.

Moisture

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to rain
  • If wet, blot gently and air dry at room temperature
  • Do not apply direct heat

Fur Preservation

  • Brush lightly in the direction of the hair with a soft garment brush
  • Avoid excessive friction
  • Do not apply conditioners or oils to the hair side

Storage

  • Store on a structured hanger
  • Use a breathable garment bag
  • Keep out of direct sunlight

For deep cleaning, consult a leather specialist experienced with hair-on hides.
