The plain one done right.

Genuine cowhide leather, snip toe, 2" stacked leather heel with a rubber cap. Stitching worked up the shaft and nothing else going on — no tooling, no inlay, no hardware. Ivory is the wedding boot, the quinceañera boot, the one that gets photographed.

The Story

The one that isn't trying to be anything.

Every bootmaker in León starts here. Plain cowhide, welt stitched, leather heel — the build every other boot is a variation on. There's no exotic skin to hide behind and no tooling to pull your eye somewhere else. The only thing holding it together is whether the person who made it knew what they were doing.

That's why we lead the line with it. A maker who can build a clean Heritage can build anything we ask for after.

Craft & Materials

The Leather

Genuine cowhide, ethically sourced. Leather lining through the foot and up the shaft.

The Sole

2" stacked leather heel with a durable rubber cap where the wear happens.

The Build

Double-stitched welt — the construction that lets a boot be resoled instead of thrown out. Snip toe, cut narrow and finished clean.

The Hands

Cut, lasted, and finished in León, Guanajuato, by people whose families have been making boots for three generations.

True to size. Order the size you normally wear.
Product Care

Moisture

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to rain — water spots show more on ivory
  • If wet, blot gently and air dry at room temperature
  • Never use direct heat — no radiators, no hair dryers

The Leather

  • Spray with a leather protectant before the first wear — light leather stains fast
  • Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wearing
  • Use a neutral or ivory cream only; a darker polish will not come back out

Storage

  • Use boot trees or stuff the shaft to hold its shape
  • Store upright, out of direct sunlight — ivory yellows in the sun
  • Keep them in a dust bag between wears
